A World without Feminism

Women have always been the protagonist of most social tales. From the early era of Ramayana and Mahabharata to the ongoing era of unjust crimes targeted against them.

While women have been looked down upon as the weaker sex, the notion has flung far from origin as it witnesses the successful dawn of their strong and ambitious virtues. But, what if suddenly, the reference of logic behind feminism is completely erased from its existence? Does the world still remain as glorious ? Or the glory is merely a short lived glee which may fade away as the esse of women is challenged?

Let’s take a dig at this deeply. Women: the origin of a child, a beacon of undivided love and hope, a mother, a sister and a wife who plays irreplaceable roles in the lives of her male genealogy. And as it’s rightly said, behind every man’s success is a supportive woman, it wouldn’t be wrong to claim abating the comparison between the two while women are the foundation to male democracy.

Feminism has always played a huge role in balancing the two genders on an even platform. The absence of it will draw the world to complete catastrophe. Who can imagine a world where men are set free to roam around the streets like hungry hogs, hunting for female flesh; when they are free to kill the girl child and expect a woman in return to give birth to a boy; where the males are the Gods and they can ill treat a woman to death, torture her soul, her kids and her parents for the luxury they were bound to provide.

A world without feminism will witness the end of trust which means, relationships will be like an empty vessel that may sound right but will forever remain hollow.

History has it in record where women were caged in walls and a toe out of line was a huge social offence. It’s not because men in the olden times wanted to dominate the female sex but it’s because they knew how powerful a woman by herself is. She is an epitome of great strength, support and beauty who needs to be delicately protected. It is why the olden princesses would live in great luxury and the level of crime against them was much less. Men are born masculine and so they bear the right to protect women. But the present day witnesses men using their weapon against their own source of support.

How then shall women stand this unwanted change and demand nothing in return. Not reasoning for equality is equivalent to not wanting life. Every living individual deserves the right to live like everyone else. Free from danger, threats, ill wills, sadness, physical abuse and dominance.

In the absence of feminism, these elements will rise like the ‘guardians of the demon’ and women will forever be shunned in silence only because they couldn’t muster the courage to question it all.

The world today is a thankful picture of how the above notion is not true. Speaking up and putting thoughts forward have opened locks on rusted minds. It is this exchange of thoughts and respect towards women that have awakened the world to glory. And if this were seen absent, the world would be a dull sky with no stars and sparkling twinkles.
